Capo on 5th Fret

G
Your dirty kiss, you tried to pull me right in
Em
Your little tricks, you're used to winning
Cadd9
You play your part, dancer in the dark
D/F#
Saying anything to try and steal away a heart

G
Now you got her, she's lying up in your bed
Em
Don't seem to stop ya, you keep on calling
Cadd9
You're out of line, waster of my time
D/F#
I just want to know how you can fall asleep at night

G
Hey, baby, you're just a pretender
Em
I'm not crazy, should've known much better
Cadd9
Whatever you do, always twisting the truth
D/F#
Well the table's 'bout to turn back right back on you

G
You must be drunk, did you forget your way home?
Em
I'm not the one who's scared of being alone
Cadd9
Got me confused with someone who needs you
D/F#
Might be the joker but I'm nobody's fool

G
Hey, baby, you're just a pretender
Em
Don't mistake me, you might think you're clever boy
Cadd9
Whatever you do, always twisting the truth
D/F#
Well the table's 'bout to turn back right back on you

Em
Take all your life on somebody else
Cadd9
I got more strength, got more pride in myself
D/F#
So, what now, who you gonna mess around?
D/F#
I can tell you right now, ain't gonna be me

G
Hey, baby, you're just a pretender
Em
I'm not crazy, should've known much better
Cadd9
Whatever you do, always twisting the truth
D/F#
Well the table's 'bout to turn back right back on you

G Em Cadd9

D/F# G
Well the table's 'bout to turn back right back on you
