[VERSE]

All of my friends live in a plastic bag, walking around jumping the train tracks,

[VERSE]
G
Give me everything good, and I'll throw it away
D
I wish that I could quit but I can't stand the shakes
G
Choking to smoke, or singing your praise

Em D Gadd2 C5
and complain

Em D Gadd2 C5 Em D Gadd2 C5
But I think there's a god and he hears either way
Em D Gadd2 C5
when I rejoice
Em D Gadd2 C5
and complain
Em D Gadd2 C5
Lift my voice
Em D Gadd2 C5
that I was made
Em D Gadd2 C5 Em D Gadd2 C5
And somebody's listening at night with the ghosts of my friends when I pray
Em D Gadd2 C5 Em D Gadd2 C5
Asking "Why did you let them leave and then make me stay?"
Em D Gadd2 C5 Em D Gadd2 C5
Know my name and all of my hideous mistakes
Em D Gadd2 C5
But I rejoice.
Em D Gadd2 C5
I rejoice.
Em D Gadd2 C5
I rejoice.
Em D Gadd2 C5
I rejoice
