Gmmaj7 Dmaj7
You colour me in gold.
Gmmaj7 Dmaj7
Lips like petals on my throat.
Gmmaj7 Dmaj7
And those fingertips like paintbrush strokes,
Cmaj7 Bm
paperboats, softly float,
A C#dim
like a song we wrote.

Gmaj7 Dmaj7
But summer comes and summer goes.
Gmaj7 Dmaj7
You change your hair, you change your clothes.
Gmaj7 Bm
The books you read help you explore
A C#dim
the world that you believed in
Gmmaj7 Dmaj7
once before.

Gmmaj7 Dmaj7 Dmaj7

Gmmaj7 Dmaj7
You colour me in gold.
Gmmaj7 Dmaj7
Kiss the freckles on my nose.
Gmmaj7 Dmaj7
With those blood red pomegranate lips
Cmaj Bm
taking sips, hand on hip.
A C#dim
Your face could launch a thousand ships.

Gmaj7 Dmaj7
But winter comes and brings the snow.
Gmaj7 Dmaj7
You change your job, you change your home.
Gmaj7 Bm
Still reading books about the ghost
A#maj7 Gdim
of a world you can't be living
Em
anymore.

Yeah sorry... I couldn't figure out the bridge, hope this is okay! You can edit/improve it if you want to.
