It's a miracle of nature, just to be alive tonight

Awake in your arms,
Bm C#dim7 D/A
The world and it's charms
E7 A D/A A7
Lit up by candle light
D A7sus4 D
It's a miracle of feeling, to love despite the fear
A7sus4 C#dim7
So please don't forget
Bm C#dim7 D/A
I've had no regrets
E7 A D/A A7
Since you found me here

G9
Through the years we've been happy
D/F#
Through the years we've been sad

Through the years

D A7sus4 D
It's a never ending wonder, that other arms are cold

When every night
Bm C#dim7 D/A
I'm warmed by the light
E7 A D/A A7
Of your spendthrift soul
D A7sus4 D
Shining like a beacon, lit up against the dark
A7sus4 C#dim7
What do people do
Bm C#dim7 D/A
When they don't have you
E7 A D/A A7
Alive in their heart?
G9
Through the years we've been happy
D/F#
Through the years we've been sad
E7 Em7 A7
And some times feeling lucky was the only luck we had
Em7 D/F# G
But we always found some laughter in the tears
A7sus4 D Am7 D
Through the years

A7sus4 C#dim7
What do people do
Bm C#dim7 D/A
When they don't have you
E7 A D/A A7
To lighten the tears?
A7sus4 D Am7 D
Through the years
