[Verse 1]
C
It's a little after midnight
G
There's a couple in the corner
D Em
And I wonder what he said because she's crying
C
And I guess they won't remember
G
When they wake up in the morning
D Em
With their headache from the whiskey and the wine
C G
I know that I have said things I regret when I'm sober
D Em
Cause we always hurt the ones we love the most
C G
I messed up and I know it if I hurt you girl I'm sorry
D Em
But it's good to see the girl I used to know

[Pre-Chorus]
C G
We can dance but I can't dance
D Em
Maybe we can stick to holding hands
C G
Or should we raise a glass
D Em
And forget the past?

[Chorus]
C G D Em
If we keep on drinking we're gon' fall back in love
C G D Em
So fill it up, fill it up
C G D Em
We must not be thinking 'cause we can't get enough
C G D
So fill it up, fill it up
Em C G D
Bartender, can you pour some love-ove-ove
Em C G D Em
Bartender, can you pour some love-ove-ove

[Verse 2]
C G
We can talk about a future, we don't wanna reminisce
D Em
Because we both know it was me who got it wrong
C
But fuck it's good to see you
G
You look awesome and I miss you
D Em
Baby listen now, they're playing our song

[Pre-Chorus]
C G
We can dance but I can't dance
D Em
Maybe we can stick to holding hands
C G
Or should we raise a glass
D Em
And forget the past?

[Chorus]
C G D Em
If we keep on drinking we're gon' fall back in love
C G D Em
So fill it up, fill it up
C G D Em
We must not be thinking 'cause we can't get enough
C G D
So fill it up, fill it up
Em C G D
Bartender, can you pour some love-ove-ove
Em C G D Em
Bartender, can you pour some love-ove-ove

[Bridge]
C G D Em
And it's closing time, back to yours or mine?
C G D Em
After all this time, you still blow my mind
C G D Em
And it's closing time, back to yours or mine?
C G D Em
After all this time, after all this time

[Chorus]
C G D Em
If we keep on drinking we're gon' fall back in love
C G D Em
So fill it up, fill it up
C G D Em
We must not be thinking 'cause we can't get enough
C G D
So fill it up, fill it up
Em C G D
Bartender, can you pour some love-ove-ove

Bartender, can you pour some love-ove-ove
