[Intro]

G C Em7 D (x2)

[Verse 1]

G C Em7 D
From walkin' home and talkin' loads
G C Em7 D
Seein' shows in evenin' clothes with you
G C Em7 D
From nervous touch and gettin' drunk
G C Em7 D
To stayin' up and wakin' up with you

[Pre-Chorus]

Em7
Now we're slipping near the edge
Em/D Em/C# Cmaj7
Holding something we don't need
Em7
Oh, this delusion in our heads
Em/D Em/C# Cmaj7 (stop)
Is gonna bring us to our knees

[Chorus]

C G
So come on, let it go
Em D
Just let it be
Am7 G
Why don't you be you
D
And I'll be me

C G
Everything that's broke
Em D
Leave it to the breeze
Am7 G
Why don't you be you
D
And I'll be me
D
And I'll be me

[Verse 2]

G C Em7 D
From throwing clothes across the floor
G C Em7 D
To teeth and claws and slamming doors on you
G C Em7 D
If this is all we're living for
G C Em7 D
Why are we doing it, doing it, doing it anymore?

[Pre-Chorus]

Em7
I used to recognize myself
Em/D Em/C# Cmaj7
It's funny how reflections change
Em7
When we're becoming something else
Em/D Em/C# Cmaj7 (stop)
I think it's time to walk away

[Chorus]

C G
So come on, let it go
Em D
Just let it be
Am7 G
Why don't you be you
D
And I'll be me

C G
Everything that's broke
Em D
Leave it to the breeze
Am7 G
Why don't you be you
D
And I'll be me
D
And I'll be me

[Bridge]

Am7 G
Tryna fit your hand inside mine
Em
When we know it just don't belong

There's no force on earth
D
Could make it feel right, woah

Am7 G
Tryna push this problem up the hill
Em
When it's just too heavy to hold
D
Think now is the time to let it slide

[Chorus]

C G
So come on, let it go
Em D
Just let it be
Am7 G
Why don't you be you
D
And I'll be me

C G
Everything that's broke
Em D
Leave it to the breeze
Am7 G
Let the ashes fall
D
Forget about me

So come on, let it go
Em D
Just let it be
Am7 G
Why don't you be you
D
And I'll be me
D
And I'll be me
