Capo 2

G Dadd4/F#
Where are we?
Em7 C
What the hell
G Dadd4/F#
Is going on?
Em7 C G Dadd4/F#
C
The dust has only just begun to fall crop circles in the
G Dadd4/F# Em7 C
Carpet, sinking, feeling

G Dadd4/F# Em7 C G
Spin me around again and rub my eyes
Dass4/F# Em7 C
This can't be happening
G Dadd4/F# Em7 C
When busy streets a mess with people would stop to
G Dadd4/F# Em7 C
hold their heads heavy

G Dadd4/F# Em7
Hide and seek
C Dadd4/F# Em7
Trains and sewing machines
G Dadd4/F# Em7
All those years
G Dadd4/F# Em7 C
They were here first

G Dadd4/F# Em7 C
Oily marks appear on walls,
G Dadd4/F# Em7 C
where pleasure moments hung before
G Dadd4/F# Em7 C G Dadd4/F#
the takeover, the sweeping insensitivity of this
Em7 C
still alive.

G Dadd4/F# Em7
Hide and seek
C Dadd4/F# Em7
Trains and sewing machines (ooh you won't catch me around here)
G Dadd4/F# F#m
Blood and tears
C G Em7 Dadd4/F#
They were here first

C G
Mm what you say
Em7 Dadd4/F#
Oh that you only meant well, well of course you did
C G
Mm what you say
Em7 Dadd4/F#
Mm that it's all for the best, of course it is
C G
Mm what you say
Em7 Dadd4/F#
That it's just what we need, you decided this

C G
Mm what you say
Em7 Dadd4/F#
What did she say?

G Dadd4/F#
Ransom notes keep falling at your mouth
Em7 Dadd4/F#
Wid-sweet talk, newspaper word cut outs
G Dadd4/F#
Speak no feeling no i don't believe you
Em7 Dadd4/F#
You don't care a bit you don't care a bit

Then back to the |G Dadd4/F# Em7 C| to end (or however you like)

Just makes some of the changes a bit easier. Also means that if you want to put some of
slides in (e.g. the 'all' in 'all those years') your pinky is in the right place for
line to go from the G(A) to the B(C#) above it.

Enjoy.
