Biography:

Cherish the Ladies is an American female 'super group' that plays Celtic music. Originally formed from Irish-American female musicians, the current lineup is founding members Joanie Madden and Mary Coogan, both from New York, all-Ireland Champion Mirella Murray from Connemara, County Galway, on accordion, pianist Kathleen Boyle from Glasgow, Scotland, fiddler Nollaig Casey from Bandon, Co Cork, and Kate Purcell from Co Clare on vocals.
