Capo 1st fret

[Intro]
A E F#m D 4X

[Verse]
D
I know I wasn't always good to you,
A
And one time I had some trouble when it came to bein' true
D
But if you're gone for good,
G A
Don't you think you could do better than Walter?

D
I'm sure that Walter is a stand-up guy.
A
He may never make you laugh,
D
But he'll never make you cry.
G A
But can you really see yourself turnin' out just like Walter?

G
- What is Walter gonna say when he finds out about the way
D
You used to run, wild and free, when you were still in love with me?
G
When he stumbles on photographs, the ones of us that you still have.
D
He sees you're not the kind of girl that fits into his perfect world.
Em G
So, before you meet him at the alter,
Em G A D A
Remember you're gonna hafta say "I do" to Walter -

D
I bet he never had his nose broke in a barroom fight
A
Or got cussed by a country judge because of one crazy night.
D
But can you really see yourself turnin' out the lights
G A
And turnin to Walter?

G
- What is Walter gonna say when he finds out about the way
D
You used to run, wild and free, when you were still in love with me?
G
When he stumbles on photographs, the ones of us that you still have.
D
He sees you're not the kind of girl that fits into his perfect world.
Em G
So, before you meet him at the alter,
Em G A D A
Remember you're gonna hafta say "I do" to Walter -
G
What is Walter gonna say when he finds out about the way
D
You used to run, wild and free, when you were still in love with me?
G
When he stumbles on photographs, the ones of us that you still have.
D
He sees you're not the kind of girl that fits into his perfect world.
Em G
So, before you meet him at the alter,
Em G A D A D A
Remember you're gonna hafta say "I do" to Walter -
