[Chorus]
D G D
Well they call me the life of the party
D E A
They call her the bell of the ball
D G D
Well we start before anybody
D A D
And I promise we'll outlast them all

[Verse]
D G D
Well it started when I was in High School
D E A
My mom and my dad taught me well
D G D
A bottle of wine at Thanksgivin'
A D
And a Valium when Grandma raised hell
D G D
So I had some champagne at a wedding
D E A
I believe that they called it cold duck
D G D
And the girl I'd been eyein' all evening
D A D
She took me round back and we sucked down
G D
The rest of that bottle
E A
And things really started to click
D G D
Well we kissed on the boxes of Liquor
A D
And she reached down and grabbed her some Dickel
G D
And added some cola
E A
Far be it for me should I pass
D G D
For I thought that if I drink another
A D
I'd certainly need me some aspirin
G D
On the next mornin'
D E A
I'd tried not to make me a sound
D G D
Cause the girl who was sleepin' beside me
D A D
Had gained herself 200 pounding
G D
On my bedroom window
D E A
My dad yelled to jump out of bed
D G D
But she woke up from all the commotion
D A D
Insisting she give me some headlines
G D
She'd read in the paper
E A
She said it had been yesterday
D G D
They said if you use moderation
A D
Our mornings could all be that way

[Chorus]
D G D
Well they call me the life of the party
D E A
They call her the bell of the ball
D G D
Well we start before anybody
A D
And I promise we'll outlast them all
