Catie Curtis - Do Unto Others

CAPO: 1st Fret

INTRO: C

G
I don't know why I cannot reach you
Am
I've tried and tried and still
F
Every time it kills me
C Em
I don't know why I cannot reach you
Am F
You've written on the back of your motorcycle jacket

CHORUS:
C G Am
Do unto others as the highway does to you
F
Tell me what that means
C
Are you talking about freedom
G
Are you talking about kindness
F
Or just trying to make me lonely
C
To make me lonely

G
I don't know why I still don't know you
Am
After all this time together
F
I thought I'd know you better
C Em
I don't know why I still don't know you
Am F
But you write me letters, but they don't help at all

CHORUS:
C G
I do wish you'd tell me why you do what you do
Am F
But you just tell me what you see
C
Are you trying to find a home somewhere
G
Trying to say that you don't care
F
Or just trying to make me lonely
Am
To make me lonely

INSTRUMENTAL: Am F C G Am F C G

C G
I don't know why I cannot have you
Am
You say you're stuck, you can't get back
F
With your van up on a jack
Am
I remind you about the spare in back
F
You say, "Yeah, but two tires are flat"
C G Am
I know I cannot have you
F
Ohoo ooh ooh

CHORUS:
C G Am
So, do unto others as the highway does to you
F
Come on, set me free
C
I'm not talking about tomorrow
G
I'm not talking anymore
F
I'm just tired of waking up lonely

Of waking up lonely

Of waking up lonely
