Biography:

Carsie Blanton (born Carson Amanda Blanton on 22 July 22 1985 in Bethesda, Maryland) is an American singer-songwriter based in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The daughter of a psychologist/novelist and a programmer/songwriter, Blanton was raised on an ex-cattle farm in rural Virginia, soaking up the mountains and the music of John Prine and Joni Mitchell. After a few years spent with her ears peeled to everything from modern folk to Motown to vintage jazz
