Biography:
Cynthia Hopkins is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, performance artist, actress, and frontwoman of the band Gloria Deluxe. She has also recorded and toured with Dan Zanes and Friends. She has released two albums under her own name, DEVOTIONALS: SONGS FOR SHUNKIN, and THE SUCCESS OF FAILURE (OR THE FAILURE OF SUCCESS), both of which feature many of her Gloria Deluxe bandmates and both of which feature music derived from larger pieces composed for the stage. Ms. Hopkins is based in Brooklyn, NYC.
