[Verse]
G
All my friends have grown up.
Cadd9
They're working in the city and all take drugs.
Em7
It's all about the good life,
G
Cheating on their poor wives,
Cadd9
But when I see them nothing ever seems to change at all.

[Chorus]
D
We're not old,
Am7
But we're not as young as we used to be.
C
Half way to obscurity
G
but we feel fine.
D
We got told
Am7
That our dreams would not amount to much,
C
But maybe I believe in us
D Dsus D5
And we'll be fine.

[Verse]
G
All my friends have it rough.
Cadd9
They stay at home with their kids saving up.
Em7
What happened to the bar fights,
G
When we would stay out all night,
Cadd9
Just to start it all again? We didn't care so much.

[Chorus]
D
We're not old,
Am7
But we're not as young as we used to be.
C
Half way to obscurity

When we talk on FaceTime,

And I see it when I'm looking in the mirror too.
