True Adventures
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

G
Turgid calls the winter charge
D
True adventures of awaking hearts
Em
Nights are overwhelmed by gloom
D
We will see foxes in the moon

G
Valleys drop, mountains rise
D
Lift your head, breathe the skies
Em
All of the forgotten names
D
Lakes are forming on the pockets of your brain

G
And there in the distant glow
D
A shadow on shadow
Em
At once so strong and weak
D
In the sunken lines they speak

G
You think it's gone my friend
D
But it comes back again

C D

G
Senescence or senility
D
How long until you sleep?
Em
Discarded for all it's worth
D
Now it's quiet under this fresh earth

G
Valleys drop, mountains rise
D
Lift your head, breathe the skies
Em
You think it's gone my friend
D
But it comes back again

C D

G
And there is a final cry
D
A whimper and a sigh
Em
And what was fast is slow
D
And what was brass is gold

G
Valleys drop, mountains rise
D
Lift your head, breathe the skies
Em
You think it's gone my friend
D
But it comes back again
C
You think it's gone my friend
D
But it comes back again
