[Verse 1]
G
So I sat with my head in my hands
D G
And they started to rust
G
And my legs, as I tried to stand
D G
Had turned into mush
G
I got sick, I got tired, I felt crushed
D G
And I suffered a lot
G
But I drew a big line in the dust
D G
You just could not cross

[Pre-Chorus]
Bm E D
But if you talk about a dream enough it might come true

[Chorus]
D G Bm E
Fall into the void, it's mesmerizing (whoa oh oh)
D G Bm E
Captivated minds are sympathizing (whoa whoa)
D G Bm E
Waiting on a sun that's never rising (whoa oh oh)
D G Bm E
Black, black sky is hypnotizing (whoa)

[Interlude]
Bm E D

[Verse 2]
G
Well I thought that I was a man
D G
Who would follow my own road
G
Though I turned my back to you
D G
So you'd follow your own
G
So long, my friend, goodbye
D G
See you later (later) I guess
G
Get gone, get lost, awhile
D G
I wish you (wish you) all the best

[Pre-Chorus]
Bm E D
But if you talk about a dream enough it might come true

[Chorus]
D G Bm E
Fall into the void, it's mesmerizing (whoa oh oh)
D G Bm E
Captivated minds are sympathizing (whoa whoa)
D G Bm E
Waiting on a sun that's never rising (whoa oh oh)
D G Bm E
Black, black sky is hypnotizing (whoa)

[Bridge]
N.C
I'm not getting bored, I'm just impatient
N.C
Watching your emotional immolation
D G Bm E
Smile and take a bow to the ovation
D G Bm E
Fade to black and change the station

[Chorus]
D G Bm E
Fall into the void, it's mesmerizing (whoa oh oh)
D G Bm E
Captivated minds are sympathizing (whoa whoa)
