G Bm11/G Em
F#m A D

G Bm11/G Em
I could try to say I'm sorry
F#m A D
But that won't be quite enough
G Bm11/G Em
To let you know the pain that I feel
F#m A D
And it just won't let up

G Bm11/G Em
It feels like the sky is falling
F#m A D
And the clouds are closing in
G Bm11/G Em
Where did I lose control
F#m A D
When did it all begin

G Bm11/G Em
Please forgive my heart
F#m A D
It's not that the problem Lies anywhere in there
G Bm11/G Em
I'm a liar, I'm in a dream
F#m A D
Going my own way, Nothing to rely on

G Bm11/G Em
The dawn is a silent witness
F#m A D
To the blindness of the night
G Bm11/G Em
And we see our reflection so clear
F#m A D
In the blush of morning light

G Bm11/G Em
Time can pass so slowly
F#m A D
When you face your burden down
G Bm11/G Em
Your term is not commuted
F#m A D
It lingers without a sound

G Bm11/G Em
Please forgive my heart
F#m A D
It's not that the problem Lies anywhere in there
G Bm11/G Em
I'm a liar, I'm in a dream
F#m A D
Going my own way, Nothing to rely on

G Bm11/G Em
Please forgive my heart
F#m A D
It's not that the problem Lies anywhere in there
G Bm11/G Em
I'm a liar, I'm in a dream
F#m A D
Can you see me Going my own way, Nothing to rely on
