INTRO: G D C G

#1.
G D G
You look the same, you’re just as sweet, as ever.
G C G
You called my name almost as sweet as ever.
Em C
When I reach and touch your hand, it’s not quite
G
the same.
G D G
The sparkle’s gone, just like in yesterday’s champagne.

BRIDGE:
Em C
I don’t think it’s right to keep you, if your love
G
has grown cold.
Em C D
When I know there’s someone else you’d much rather hold.

#2.
G D G
I still love you, just as much, as ever.
C G
And I need you, even more, than ever.
Em C
The bubble in your laughter's gone, though you may try
G
in vain.
G D G
Each time we kiss, I feel like yesterday’s champagne.

INTERLUDE: G D C G

OUTRO:
Em C
The bubble in your laughter's gone, though you may try
G
in vain.
