Intro: G D x2

G
Are we institutionalised
D
by the demands of today?
G
In our regalia
D
are we ok?
Bm
Because the flash, of a blade

is one less getting paid
D
there in the line
Bm
And the ice, and gold

is just a double code...
D
It's a paradigm

For every little thing
G (distorsion guitar here)
that fashion gives you
D
Yeah

G D

G
So the Puritan on a morning
D
said happy sad melody
G
I'm waltzing on an amazing pulse
D
in a pornographic sea
Bm
Where the absent blade

is one less in parade
D
To throw overboard
Bm
And the ice, and gold

it's just a double code
D
It's a metaphor

For every little thing
G (distorsion guitar again) D
that fashion gives you Yeah

Em D

G
I'm Falling into something
D
that plays upon the metronome, in your heart
G
It's smoke and it's mirrors
D
until the auto cue starts
Bm
Then the dry ice comes

and we start sucking our
D
thumbs on the TV
Bm
And the joy of people
D
spirited away so merrily

is part of every little thing
G (dist. guitar) D
that fashion gives you Yeah

G D

(Here we go)

G D
Lalala la lalala la

Em D
(Hey puritan Hey Puritan)
lalala la laaaa

G D
lalala la lalala la

Em D
(what you gonna do about it?) (It's all smoke and mirrors)
lalala la laaaaa

G D
lalala la lalala la

Em D
(What you gonna do about it?) (Hey Puritan Hey Puritan)
lalala la laaaaa

G D
lalala la lalala la

Em D
