Bing Crosby

Has Anybody Seen My Girl

by Bing Crosby
Bing Crosby

Biography:

Harry Lillis "Bing" Crosby Jr. (kr?zbi/; May 3, 1903 – October 14, 1977) was an American singer, comedian and actor. The first multimedia star, Crosby was a leader in record sales, radio ratings, and motion picture grosses from 1931 to 1954. His early career coincided with recording innovations that allowed him to develop an intimate singing style that influenced many male singers who followed him, including Perry Como, Frank Sinatra, Dick Haymes, and Dean Martin.

[Verse]

C A7 D7 G7 C G7
I just saw young Willy Mack, Willy Mack, Willy Mack - wild, and tearing his hair,
C A7 D7 G7 C
Jumping like a Jumpin' Jack, Jumpin' Jack, Jumpin' Jack, Child, you should have been there,
E A5 D7 G D7 G
He laughed so loud I thought that I would cave in, when I heard that silly, daffy-dilly ra - vin':

[Chorus]

C E A7
Five foot two, eyes of blue,But oh what those five foot could do,
D7 G7 C Ab7 G7
Has anybody seen my gal?
C E A7
Turned-up nose, turned-down hose, Never had no other beaus,
D7 G7 C
Has anybody seen my gal? Now if you
E A5
run into a five-foot-two Covered with fur,
D7 G G7
Diamond rings, and all those things, Bet your life it isn't her,
C E A7
But could she love, could she woo, Could she, could she, could she coo?
D7 G7 C
Has anybody seen my gal?

[Verse]

C A7 D7 G7 C G7
Love played him an awful trick, awful trick, awful trick, Gee he hollered and cried,
C A7 D7 G7 C
Like a monkey on a stick, on a stick, on a stick, He was fit to be tied.
E A5 D7 G D7 G
When we asked him for his wife's description, He just answered all of us with this connip - tion:
