Biography:

Bill Mallonee (born January 1, 1955, in Martinsville, Virginia) is an American artist who is the songwriter and leader of Vigilantes of Love, the renowned alt-country / indie band out of Athens, Georgia which disbanded in 2001 and then reformed in 2008. In between times, Mallonee has toured as a solo act, playing coffee shops and occasional private shows. Most often described as a "singer-songwriter," Mallonee is a prolific songwriter, with scores of new songs written and recorded every year.
