Album: Civil Dusk
*CAPO 4*

[Intro]
Bm Dsus4 D Dsus2 G
Bm D5 G Cadd9
Bm A G D Dsus4

[Verse 1]
Bm A G
Only a fool would step away from this
Bm A G Cadd9
The song so sweet on the siren’s lips
Bm A G D Dsus4
How do you lie straight with a viper’s tongue?
G D/F# Em7 D
I’m at a loss to explain
G D/F# Em7 D
Just how easy you found me to replace
Bm A G D
Now that the naked truth is out on display

[Chorus]
A Bm
Could you explain why did you gravitate
G D
To somethin’ about to break
A Bm
Take what you need to take
G Bm A
Just silently walk away
G D A
How could you be so reckless?
Can you explain
G D A
How could you be so reckless?

[Verse 2]
Bm D G
Three time lucky, you might admit
Bm D G Cadd9
See and speak and hear no evil
Bm A G D Dsus4
Guess I thought I could just keep stumblin’ back in
G D/F# Em7 D
I’m at a loss to explain
G D/F# Em7 D
Just how easy you found me to replace
Bm A G D
We were free fallin’ out into nothin’ anyway

[Chorus]
A Bm
Could you explain why did you gravitate
G D
To somethin’ about to break
A Bm
Take what you need to take
G Bm A
Just silently walk away
G D A
How could you be so reckless?
Can you explain
G D A
How could you be so reckless?

[Bridge]
D Em D/F# G (x3)
D Em D/F# Bm A G

[Chorus]
Can you explain
G D A
How could you be so reckless?
Three time lucky, you might admit
G D A
How could you be so reckless?
Bb#6add9
Only a fool would step away from this
G D A
How could you be so reckless?
G D A
We were free fallin’ out into nothin’ anyway

[Outro]
Bm Dsus4 D Dsus2 G
Bm A G
