Planning to add a little more depth to the picking and everything later, but for now these are the basic
chords for the most part. Listen to the song and you should be able to figure some of the other stuff out.

[Verse 1]

G D C C/B G
Everything inside of me is broken now
C G C
And now a piece falls out my sleeve in every single town
C G C
Now I pray each line I leave is the last one I ride down
G D C C/B G
And I will always love you and I will never be around

[Chorus]

C G
And I would pick a shallow grave over an empty cell
D C C/B G
Oh cause I have seen that time ain't too forgiving of a jail
C G C
And I could craft a pile of stone into a wishing well
G D C C/B G
But you aren't so naive my love, we know that life is hell

[Verse 2]

G D C C/B G
Highways wane and old freight trains burn in my ear
C G C
It became so loud at times its all that I could hear
C G C
But running from your troubles it wont make them disappear
G D C C/B G
I would waltz through fire my friend to have my conscious clear

[Chorus]

C G
And I would pick a shallow grave over an empty cell
D C C/B G
Oh cause I have seen that time ain't too forgiving of a jail
C G C
And I could craft a pile of stone into a wishing well
G D C C/B G
But you aren't so naive my love, we know that life is hell

[Verse 3]

G D C C/B G
And you would think that fate would grant a second chance
C G C
But she won't give the time of day or a awkward glance
C G C
She won't reduce my sentence under the circumstance
G D C C/B G
And I had placed my bets before the cards were in my hand

[Chorus]

C G
And I would pick a shallow grave over an empty cell
D C C/B G
Oh cause I have seen that time ain't too forgiving of a jail
C G C
And I could craft a pile of stone into a wishing well
G D C C/B G
But you aren't so naive my love, we know that life is hell

[Verse 4]

G D C C/B G
Everything inside of me is broken now
C G C
And now a piece falls out my sleeve in every single town
C G C
Now I pray each line I leave is the last one I ride down
G D C C/B G
And I will always love you and I will never be around
G D C C/B G
And I will always love you and I will never be around
