Have Fun Storming The Castle

by Bayside
Bayside

Biography:

Formed in October of 2000, Bayside consisted of four musicians looking for a chance to play music the rest of their lives. They recorded a demo and the band began playing shows around Long Island, NY. They quickly caught the eye of Brooklyn, New York's Dying Wish Records, who released their first EP, "Long Stories Short", featuring the songs "Foot Impressions", "Days Of My Life", "Red Head VS. The Pretty Red Bracelet", "Downtime", "Ask For It", and "Advance Letter Goodbye".

Em
If I knew it'd

only change one

thing If I was

give every chance

change I'd make

it a point
Bm
to smile every day

Refrain 1:

So I'm cynical

what's left worth
believing in

Wicked are the

the box I guess

its righteous

the name of God

right and wrong

the same gray
D
line we all live
G Em C
on Oh Sing out
D G D/F#
all the pain

If this was my

chance to shine
but I have to

think twice
cause it'd come
Bm
as no surprise

if I did not
D C
know what to do
if I was caught
Am
off guard
sometimes your
luck becomes
Bm
a curse that
you can't
forget about

Am G
So I'm cynical
I guess but
D
what's left
worth believing

in but you try

and you try

pawns in the matter

trends and truth

then I will proudly
B
march with the latter
