Hello, this is my first ever tab so I hope i didn't make any mistakes making this. It sounds good on acoustic.
I'm pretty sure most parts are correct or very close.

There is a riff that goes throughout the song you can play it or you can just play Am instead.

riff C G

Verse 1
riff
Well they said there was nothing to worry about
C G
And they said there was no reason to shout
riff
But I saw the bulkheads cracking
C G
And for us there's no way out

riff
When we started on our journey
C G
No one ever could have foreseen
riff
Our desolate and lonely ending
C G
All I've got is helpless feeling
F G
But it doesn't take a genius to see

Chorus
Am G Dm Am
There's a hooooooooooooooooooooole in the ship
C G Am
And there's nothing we can do
C G Am
Our worst fears have now come true
C G Am
A few of us are struggling desperately
C G Am
To shoot the albatross of H.M.S. Humanity
C C/B Am G
It's time to bail
Am riff C G
but I think it's too late

Verse 2
riff
All my cohorts think I'm crackers
C G
They've embroiled the local matters
riff
And despite obvious warning
C G
They won't heed my futile chatter

F G
But there's something they outta know

Chorus 2

Am G Dm Am
There's a hooooooooooooooooooooole in the ship
C G Am
The end is oh so near
C G Am
The others show no interest or fear
C G Am
Our nature overwhelms our buoyancy
C G Am
Yeah nothing could patch the growing vacuity
C C/B Am G
It's time to bail,
Am
but I think it's too late

Bridge
Dm Am Dm Am C
Is it possible we have a social disease that makes us close our eyes in dangerous times
G Am
But I'm joining in nicely?
Dm Am Dm Am C
Or are we too aware and simply too scared to accept destiny, our mortality
G E7
Our mortality, yeah

Chorus
Am G Dm Am
There's a hooooooooooooooooooooole in the ship
C G Am
And there's nothing we can do
C G Am
Our worst fears have now come true
C G Am
A few of us are struggling desperately
C G Am
To shoot the albatross of H.M.S. Humanity
C G Am
Our nature overwhelms our buoyancy
C G Am
And nothing could patch the growing vacuity
C C/B Am G
It's time to bail,
Am
but I think it's too late
