B.W. Stevenson - I Wish You Could Have Turned My Head

CAPO: 4th Fret

[CHORUS:] **Sung a Capella**
(C)
I wish you could have turned my head
(F)
And left my heart alone
(G)
But ever since I met you, baby
(F) (C)
You have done me wrong

You walked by and you shook that thing
(F)
You know I'm not that strong
(G)
But I wish you could have turned my head
(C)
And left my heart alone

[CHORUS:]
C
I wish you could have turned my head
F
And left my heart alone
G
But ever since I met you, baby
F C
You have done me wrong

You walked by and you shook that thing
F
You know I'm not that strong
G
But I wish you could have turned my head
C
And left my heart alone

[VERSE 1:]

The first time I laid eyes on you
F
Got caught up in your sway
G
Lord, I didn't have a chance
F C
The day you looked my way

[VERSE 2:]

From the longing to loving, girl
F
We made it all the way
G
But for all the hunger in my eye
C
My heart it had to pay

I wish you could have turned my head
F
And left my heart alone
G
Ever since I met you, baby
F C
You have done me wrong

You walked by and you shook that thing

But I wish you could have turned my head
C
And left my heart alone
