Aviators

Biography:

There are at least two music groups under the name 'Aviators':

[Intro]
Am G Em F G A

[Verse 1]
Am G Em
I heard the cries of an orphan
F G A
Mourning the passing of time
Am
I felt pain
G Em
Seep from the blood's absolution
F G A
Bled once by wonders divine
Am
I am amazed
G Em
Left in the ruins of greatness
F G A
And I'll keep their nightmare alive
Am
Fighting in vain
G Em
We are the fiends in the shadows
F G A
And I am the beast that survived

[Chorus]
G A
Here come the ravens
Am F
To take what is mine
F
Their watching eyes
G Dm
Waiting for the rest of me to die
G A
Here comes the reaper
Am F
That hides from the light
F
Still hunting for
G Dm
The heart that's still beating inside
G F G A
For these ravens to find

F G Em G

F G Em G

[Verse 2]
Am G Em
Tossed in a well long forgotten
F G A
The duty I had to fulfill
Am
I can't remember
G Em
Why I became a lost dreamer
F G A
For vengeance, or for the next kill
Am
Locked in a tower
G Em
I'll cut away what I've done
F G A
From the rest of the dreamers outside
Am
Cursed in a portrait
G Em
Made of this hunter's regrets
F G A
Of the mother I drowned in the tide

[Chorus]
G A
Here come the ravens
Am F
To take what is mine
F
Their watching eyes
G Dm
Waiting for the rest of me to die
G A
Here comes the reaper
Am F
That hides from the light
F
Still hunting for
G Dm
The heart that's still beating inside
G F G A
For these ravens to find

(Here come the ravens)

[Verse 3]
Am G
Weep for the master that made me
Em F G
And the raven that heard my last breath
Am A
Long have the hunters pursued me
G F G
And tonight I'm your angel of death
A F
Fire, blood, and desire
G
Lost in the mire
F G
In desolation
A F
Lies, all of us die
G
And even now, I
F G
Am left to the ravens

[Alt. Chorus]
G A
Here come the ravens
Am F
To bury my pride
F
They're hunting me
G Dm
And trails of my sorrow behind
G A
Here comes the new blood
Am F
Where secrets should lie
F
To find rest
G Dm
Where dreamers and beasts go to die

[Chorus]
G A
Here come the ravens
Am F
To take what is mine
F
Their watching eyes
G Dm
Waiting for the rest of me to die
