Biography:
Arthur Darvill (born Thomas Arthur Darvill in 1982, Birmingham) is an English theatre and television actor who is currently playing Rory Williams in the hit TV series Doctor Who (2010). He was also in a band named Edmund.
After a stint as a childrens TV presenter with CITV and following training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), Darvill started his theatre career. His professional stage debut was in Edmund White's Terre Haute, which earned him a Best Newcomer nomination at the 2007 Evening Standard Theatre Awards.
