Dm
I took a walk around the yard
Em
Dug the flowers 'til it got too hard

Put a half a case away

Took a sleeping pill and I tried to watch TV

Looked too much like you for the likes of me

CHORUS:
Am Em F
And, I woke up crying in my sleep
Em Am Dm G
I was talking to your pillow
Am Em F Em
And I reached out to touch your hand
Dm Am
And knocked the phone off the nightstand
Em F
And the operator said, ("May I help you please?")
Dm Em F
And I said, "No thanks baby, tonight there is no help for me
G C G F
I just had a bad dream, that's all that's wrong with me
G C G F G
