Paper Bag - Anna Nalick, Wreck of the Day

G C G C G C Am C

(G) She don't (C) run from the (G) sun (C) no more
(G) She boxed her (C) shadow and she (G) won (C)
(G) Said I can see you (C) laugh
(G) Through these (C) bottle caps
(G) And this wire around my (C) neck ain't
There for fun (G) (C)

But someday (Am) we'll all be old
And I'll be so (C) damn beautiful

(G) Meanwhile I hide my (C) head
Here in this (G) paper (C) bag
Cause if I (G) cant see (C) you
Then (Am) you can't (C) see me
And it'll (G) be okay (C)
Fly little (G) bee away (C)
To where there's (G) no more rain (C)
And (Am) I can (C) be me

(G) (C) Yeah they talk (G) about her (C)
(G) She (C) smiles like she's so (G) tough (C)
She says (G) "hey can you (C) talk a little (G) louder, (C)
I don't (G) think my heart is (C) broken enough" (G)

But someday (Am) we'll all be old
And I'll be so (C) damn beautiful

(G) Meanwhile I hide my (C) head
Here in this (G) paper (C) bag
Cause if I (G) cant see (C) you
Then (Am) you can't (C) see me
And it'll (G) be okay (C)
Fly little (G) bee away (C)
To where there's (G) no more rain (C)
And (Am) I can (C) be me

(Am) Some days I wade in the indigo
(C) Singing that song on the radio
(Am) I blame these puddles on the (D) rain
(Am) you know I got to keep these cheeks dry today
(C) got to keep my cheating strategy
(Am) and baby I'm gunna have it (D) made

But someday (Am) we'll all be old
And I'll be so (C) damn beautiful

(G) Meanwhile I hide my (C) head
Here in this (G) paper (C) bag
Cause if I (G) cant see (C) you
Then (Am) you can't (C) see me
And it'll (G) be okay (C)
Fly little (G) bee away (C)
To where there's (G) no more rain (C)
And (Am) I can (C) be me

G C G C G C Am C

(G) Meanwhile I hide my (C) head
Here in this (G) paper (C) bag
Cause if I (G) cant see (C) you
Then (Am) you can't (C) see me
And it'll (G) be okay (C)
Fly little (G) bee away (C)
To where there's (G) no more rain (C)
And (Am) I can (C) be me
And (Am) I can (C) be me
And (Am) I can (C) be me
And (Am) I can (C) be me
