I caught a glimpse of a girl today
G Cadd9
In a backyard window she was
Em7 A7sus4 Cadd9
Dancing away
D Cadd9
She put a Beatles record on
D
I couldn't tell which song

Em D
And then she was crying in the lamplight
Cadd9 A7sus4
Somebody came to see
Em D
Was she ok, was she alright?
Cadd9 A7sus4
Then she turned and looked at me
D Cadd9 G Cadd9 G Cadd9
And I thought yeah, she's gonna be ok

G Cadd9 G Cadd9
How are you these days, how's your head?
G Cadd9
I thought it was you, but I think it's
Em7 A7sus4 Cadd9
Me instead
D

Like particles up, dust the sky
G
They can drift away and
C9 Em7 A7sus4 Cadd9
Not even try
D Cadd9
I can't tell right from wrong
D
Not ever since you're gone

Em D
Oh, I'll miss you in the daylight
Cadd9 A7sus4
I wish you'd just come to see
Em D
Am I ok, am I alright?
Cadd9 A7sus4
Want you just to look at me
D Cadd9 G Cadd9 G
Tell me yeah, it's gonna be ok
Cadd9 G A7sus4
It's gonna be alright

And then maybe we'll see
Em D
It's ok, it's alright
Cadd9 A7sus4
I want you just to look at me

Em D
Kiss me in the moonlight
Cadd9 A7sus4
And then maybe we'll see
Em A7sus4 Cadd9 A7sus4
It's ok, it's alright
