Allen Stone

Figure It Out

by Allen Stone
Allen Stone

Biography:

From backwoods barbecues and community gatherings; Allen Stone emerges to share personal melodies, telling his tales of life after just 24 years. Getting his start singing at his father's church in small-town America; it wasn't until later when introduced to the greats of soul music (Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin) and then to the confessional lyrical fashion of the 60's -70's singer/ songwriters, did music begin to ignite intense passion, eventually carrying this boy to a musical home.

Here's Allen Stone's "FIGURE IT OUT" off of his debut album. I've included the chord fingerings but there
are little hammer-on parts you'll have to listen to the recordings to get. I've also included the alternate
chords Allen plays on his live version off his new CD because it just sounds cool! I've broken the chords down
based on song section so their may be duplicates mentioned but it's my hope it's easier to learn this way.

This is by ear and takes a lot of work so PLEASE RATE!!

[Verse 1]

Oh, if I could see into the depths of what makes you, hey,
you, then I could give you all that love that you pursue,

But I, I

Well, I am just a man, and I just can't pretend,

We can figure it out, We can figure it out
