For the verses, take a listen through the song to hear the picking pattern, it's a Travis picking style
pattern that walks from C down to the Am7. For a lot of the F chords I substitute an Fsus2, do this anywhere
you think it sounds good. I also find that it sounds better without the high e string so I often mute that
but will throw it in on some of the choruses or the bridge. Like all songs, make it your own, have fun with
it and keep loving guitar. If you have any feedback post it in the comments below and I'll try and keep
the tab updated. Cheers!

[Verse 1]
C
Careful as I write her name
Gadd11/B
On the corner of the page
Am7 F
Make it look like it was her, all along
C
And I put the paper in my bag
Gadd11/B
As I'm walking back to class
Am7
And the notes I wrote
F
That took me so long
Em
She doesn't notice me
F
She just smiles and says
Em
"Thank you for the trigonometry"
F
'Cause that's all it meant to her

[Chorus]
F
But I spent
Am7 F
22 days and 21 nights
C G/B
Crossing every T, just making it right
Am7 F C
Only to discover it's not worth
G/B
Doing Annabelle's homework
Am7 F
Doesn't matter how many papers I write
C G/B
End of the equation won't be you and I
Am7 F C
And now I'm just another who got hurt
G/B
Doing Annabelle's homework
Am7 F
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
C G/B
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
Am7 F
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
C G/B
Doing Annabelle's homework

[Verse 2]
C
Careful as I walk away
Gadd11/B
So she can't see it on my face
Am7 F
How I look and now I'm feeling so bad
C
I'm disappointed in myself
Gadd11/B
'Cause I know love's not for sale
Am7 F
Oh, my mother raised me better than that
Em
She doesn't notice me
F
She just smiles and says
Em
"Thank you for the geography"
F
'Fause that's all it meant to her

[Chorus]
F
But I spent
Am7 F
22 days and 21 nights
C G/B
Crossing every T, Just making it right
Am7 F C
Only to discover it's not worth
G/B
Doing Annabelle's homework
Am7 F

Am7 F
I'm alive, you don't know I'm here
C Gadd11/B
Just circling around in your atmosphere, yeah
Am7 F
I'm alive, you don't know I'm here
C Gadd11/B
Just circling around, just circling
