2) Addie Pray, otherwise known as Bill Lincoln, was part of an American (LA/Texas) rock n roll group called Euphoria. In 1969, to little fanfare or label support, Capital Records released their explosive sole album, A Gift From Eurphoria. This disc is commonly referred to as one of the best LPs from the period - it’s that good.

[Verse 1]
E
Miss you
A
Miss you less and less with each day that goes by
E
Cuz I don’t call and I don’t hear from you
A
I don’t miss you quite enough to make the same mistakes I made this endless year

[verse 2]
E
Falling
A
Falling out of love with the idea of you
E
And everything I hoped that you would be
A
Relentless memories of sanctity that I’ve been trying to shake

[Chorus 1]
E
Now everything reminds me of you
A
Eternally shitty point of view
E A
Cross things out cuz I’m too tired to care

[Chorus 2]
E
That I was just something for you
A
To aimlessly look forward to
E A
I had myself convinced I needed you

[Verse 3]
E
But still
A
Still so many things I wouldn’t change about you
E
The way you laugh the way you say goodbye
A
Sitting on the edge of my bed our shoulders always side by side

[Verse 4]
E
And I wished
A
I wished that things could have worked out that time
E
And the time before and the time before that too
A
But now I think we’re just too similar and I wasted so much time on you

[Chorus 3]
E
Now everything reminds me of you
A
Let me down easy, words misconstrued
E A
And I let myself believe you every time

[Chorus 4]
E
Cuz I remember everything
A
That night you said you liked my rings
E A
A million thoughts that never cross your mind

[Chorus 5]
E
And you fucked up but it’s my fault
A
What I asked was too difficult
E A
I’m sorry I made you feel so much pressure

[Verse 5]
E
Waiting
A
Waiting for my heavy heart to unload
E
September feels like it was years ago
A
But the distance between us is making this so much easier

[Verse 8]
E
Thinking
A
Thinking about you and your quiet smile
E
Nostalgia gets the best of me sometimes
A
Then reality sets in and I remember what you did so many times before

[Chorus 6]
E
Now everything reminds me of you
A
Aggressive lengths I always go to
E A
Disgustingly predictable I am

[Chorus 7]
E
Cuz I wasted all my words on you
A
You were too scared to tell the truth
E A
You’ll probably go on like nothing happened

[Chorus 8]
E
So I’ll beat this dead cat one last time
A
We’ll never really say goodbye
E A
But I won’t be there the next time you change your mind
E
And oh I’m doing fine
