Thousand Foot Krutch

All I Need To Know

by Thousand Foot Krutch
Thousand Foot Krutch

Biography:

Thousand Foot Krutch (often abbreviated TFK) is a Canadian Christian rock band from Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. They made their debut in 1995 when Trevor McNevan, Joel Bruyere, and Steve Augustine started putting a praise & worship spin on the nu-metal sound of the time. After building a buzz around Ontario with numerous shows and a strong demo titled That's What People Do, Thousand Foot Krutch signed with Diamante and issued their debut LP, Set It Off, in 2000.

Intro: D

[Verse 1:]
D
You could read a million pages know the words and all the phrases
G
You could try to turn a lie into the truth
D
You can live to be a hundred memorizing every number
G
You could even put a man on the moon
A G
And the science of the heart is sometimes lost on me
A G
But I'm following this feeling

[Chorus:]
D
I don't know why it's so hard to swallow our pride
G
And I don't know how many wrongs make a right
D
I don't know the reason
G
Sometimes it just feels so good to cry
A
And I don't know which way the wind will blow
G
But you're here with me
D
And that's all I need to know
D G
Wa - oh - oh Wa - oh - oh Wa - oh - oh

[Verse 2:]
D
There's a moment in the morning when I feel the most alone
G
But then I hear your voice whispering my name
D
It's like a wave of understanding and I never could have planned it
G
When the questions and doubts all fade away

[Chorus]

[Bridge:]
A G
I figured it out you turned me around at the speed of light
A G
All that I ever needed to know was in your eyes

Ending/Chorus
D
I don't know why it's so hard to swallow our pride
G
And I never count all the stars in the sky
D
I don't know the reason
G
Sometimes it just feels so good to cry
A
And I don't know which way the wind will blow
G
But you're here with me
D
And that's all I need to know
D G
Wa - oh - oh Wa - oh - oh Wa - oh - oh
