Whiskey In The Jar

C Am
As I was goin' over the far famed Kerry mountains
F C Am
I saw with Captain Farrell and his money he was countin # 17
C Am
I first produced my pistol and then produced my rapier
F C Am
I said stand and deliver or the devil he may take ya

G7
Musha ring dum a do dum a dah
C C7
Whack for my daddy-o
F
Whack for my daddy-o
C G7 C
There's whiskey in the jar-o

C Am
I took all of his money and it was a pretty penny
F C Am
I took all of his money and I brought it home to Molly
C Am
She swore that she loved me never would she leave me
F C Am
But the devil take the women for you know she tricked me easy

G7
Musha ring dum a do dum a dah
C C7
Whack for my daddy-o
F
Whack for my daddy-o
C G7 C
There's whiskey in the jar-o

C Am
Being drunk and weary I went to Molly # 17 s chamber
F C Am
Takin # 17 my money with me and I never knew the danger
C Am
For about six or maybe seven in walked Captain Farrell
F C Am
I jumped up fired off my pistols and I shot him with both barrels

G7
Musha ring dum a do dum a dah
C C7
Whack for my daddy-o
F
Whack for my daddy-o
C G7 C
There's whiskey in the jar-o

C Am
Now some men like the fishin' and some men like the fowlin'
F C Am
And some men like to hear a cannon ball a roarin'
C Am
But me I like sleepin' specially in my Molly's chamber
F C Am
But here I am in prison here I am with a ball and chain yeah

G7
Musha ring dum a do dum a dah
C C7
Whack for my daddy-o
F
Whack for my daddy-o
C G7 C
There's whiskey in the jar-o
