F Am C G6
F Am G6

[Verse]

F Am
Hey I wasn't listening
C
I was watching Syria
G6
blinded by the sunshine strip
F Am
And you you were in the kitchen
C
Oh your mariner's mouth
G6 F
The wounded with the wounder's whip
Am
And that's how summer passed
C G6
The great dividing range the green green grass
F Am G6
And oh maybe it was peace at last who knew

[Chorus]

F C Em F
Then hello love my invincible friend
C Em F
Hello love the thistle and the burr
C G6 F
Hello love for you I have so many words
F F Am G6 F
But I I forget where we were

[Verse]

F Am
Hey I wasn't listening
C
I was stung by all of us
G6 F
The blind leading out the bored
Am
And as per usual you were
C G6 F
skipping and laughing eyes at the bedroom door
Am
don't take it so seriously
C
only time is ours
G6 F
the rest we'll just wait and see
Am G6
maybe you're right babe maybe

F Am
Oh no and that's how summer passed
C
The great dividing
G6
The range of green green grass
F Am G6
And oh maybe I hold on fast to you

[Chorus]

F C Em F
Then hello love my invincible friend
C Em F
Hello love the thistle and the burr
C G6 F
Hello love for you I have so many words
F
But I
F Am G6 F
I forget where we were
F Am G6 F
I forget where we were oh
