Take me back to my boat on the river
D
I need to go down
B7
I need to come down
Em D B7 Em
Take me back to my boat on the river and I won't cry out anymore

D
Oh the river is wise
B7 Em
The river it touches my life
A
Like the waves on the sand
Am Em D
And all the roads lead to tranquility base where the frown of my face
B7
disappears

Em D B7 Em
Take me down to my boat on the river and I won't cry out anymore

D
Oh the river is deep
B7 Em
The river it touches my life
A
Like the waves on the sand
Am Em D
And all the roads lead to tranquility base where the frown of my face
B7
disappears
