This is my first attempt at a submission, but I couldn't find this song anywhere,
so I gave it a shot. It's a great song, hope this helps. It sounds right to me,
but I'll apologize in advance for any errors.

G D
Beat up and kicked around
G C
I pick myself up off the ground.
G D
I head east to another town
G
I'm movin' on.
G D
Bar room fights and breakin' glass
G C
A broken nose and a smoker's laugh.
G D G
I'm sure I probably cut my life in half.

***CHORUS***

C G
With a suitcase full of empty dreams.
D G
A guitar with broken strings.
C G D
A busted heart that longs to sing the blues.
C G
A mind that always leads me wrong,
D G
A head full of Hank Williams songs.
C D G
I'm sorry, honey, but this highway's home.

G D
I've loved pretty women and some that ain't.
G C
I'm a burned out junkie truck stop saint,
G D
So check the tires and fill the tank,
G
I'm movin' on.
G D
Interstate markers and highway signs,
G C
Eighteen wheels and thin white lines.
G D
Dodge a speed trap one more time,
G
I'm gone.

***REPEAT CHORUS***
Bm C
So hard to leave you here this way,
Bm C
With a white dress and a goodbye wave.
Bm C
But theres mouths to feed and bills to pay,
D
I'm sorry, honey, I've got to go.

***HARMONICA SOLO***

***REPEAT CHORUS***

***END***
