1.) Banda Speed Metal de Düsseldorf, Alemania, formada en 1983.
2.) Warrant es una banda de glam metal de Los Ángeles, California, formada en 1984, que obtuvo su mayor éxito durante los noventa con su single y álbum "Cherry Pie".
Es el estilo creado durante finales de los 80s y comienzos de los 90s el que realmente representa el sello de esta banda. El estigma de la banda era un heavy metal duro, "cheesy", obsesionado con el sexo y normalmente relacionado con un perverso sentido del humor.
