Biography:
UFO es una banda de hard rock británica fundada en 1969. UFO se transformó en una banda transicional entre el hard rock primitivo y el heavy metal y apareció como la New Wave del heavy metal británico.
La influencia de UFO se sintió fuertemente en la escena del heavy metal de los 80s y han sido citados como influencia primaria de Steve Harris de Iron Maiden, Steve Kudlow de Anvil, Kirk Hammett de Metallica, Dave Mustaine de Megadeth, Frank Hannon de Tesla, y Mike McCready de Pearl Jam, entre otros..
