... D D C
So you make a litle money
D
off of sombody elses sweat
C
so some people starve a little
D
while you got fat
Em . . . Em . DD Em . . .
while you got fat

Em . DD C
So you grind and grind
D
and you push and shove
C
and claim that those most worthy
D
will get what they diserve
Em . . . Em . DD Em . . .
what they diserve...

. .
Em . D D C
It can't be true
. .
D D C
It can't be true

D D Em D
Because I've seen too many hungry faces
Em D
I've seen too many with the likes of you
C . . . C . DD C . . . C .DD Em . . . Em . DD Em . . .
it can't be true

. .
Em . D D C
For you everything has its price
D
you give nothing away for free
C
if silence were truly golden
D
I guess no one could sleep
Em . . . Em . DD Em . . .
no one could sleep

. .
Em . D D C
You have money at your fingertips
D
people at your beck and call
C
and you're fool enough to think for a price
D Em . . . Em . DD Em . . .
You can have the whole wide world

. .
Em . D D C
For all our sakes
. .
D D C
and all our lives
. .
D D Em
We must hope the words that
D
come from your lips
Em D
we must hope those words are lies
. .
D D C
for all our sakes
. .
D D C
and all our lives
. .
D D Em
we must hope the dreams,
D
soulless visiones that you have
Em D
are never realized

C
So you've got a big house
D
you drive a fancy car
Em
So what if your pockets are full
D
if you have an empty heart
C
You snap your fingers
D
and all the waters part
Em
So what if the people bow down
D
if they show you no regard
C
Your left hand
D
always watshes your right
Em
So what if you trust in God
D
if you can't sleep at night
C
You think you've made it
D
You think you've got what everyone wants
Em
So what if you're a big fat man
D (let ring)
with an empty little heart

. .
D D C
Who has made a litle money
D
off of somebody else's sweat
C
Who watched the people starve
D
while you got fat
Em . . . Em . DD
while you got fat
Em . . . Em . DD
you got fat
Em . . . Em . DD Em (let ring)
you got fat!!!
