So it's only acoustic obviously.
You're going to have to figure out the strumming patterns I did the best I could!
I put the Am on every second line in the verse because it sounds better.
If you have any questions or concerns feel free to PM me!

F

F Am G C
With a heart-attack on your plane
Am G Am F
You were looking back on your days
F Am G C
How you spent them all in a blur
Am G Am F
When they asked if you were for sure

F Am G C
Let the sugar melt down your throat
Am G Am F
Cos you know it's sweet getting old
F Am G C
With a lollipop and a rose
Am G Am F
Let the hospital be your home

G Am C F
Cos your knees are scratched and your eyes are black
G Am C F
Put a plaster there and I'll sign your cast

F Am G C
In the liner notes at the end
Am G Am F
Some familiar names in tiny print
F Am G C
On the cover page of the year
Am G Am F
Grainy photographs, greasy hair

G Am C F
But it's noon o'clock and you're still asleep
G Am C F
And your coffee's cold, your coffee's icy

G Am C F
Cos your knees are scratched and your eyes are black
G Am C F
Put a plaster there and I'll sign your cast

F x3

C x3
Cos facts are facts (?)

F Am G C
Classic Hollywood as a kid
Am G Am F
With the volume up all the way
F Am G C
Now you do the same and you're right
Am G Am F
Things are better in black and white

G Am C F
But there's another girl in another day
G Am C F
And your favourite foods still taste the same

G Am C F
Cos your knees are scratched and your eyes are black
G Am C F
Put a plaster there and I'll sign your cast
G Am C F
We're the best and the brightest, turn the television on
G Am C F
Have your seatbelts strapped and your helmets on!

G Am C F x2

End on F
