Capo 3rd fret

Am F C G

Am F
A little hope tonight
C G
It was small but it was all I needed
Am F C G
A split second when we both lost control
Am F
It wasn't just me It wasn't just me
C G
we stopped in the street and You stopped breathing
Am F C G
your head tilted back Heart attack
C G Am F
You closed your eyes and opened your mouth
C G
I went in when nothing came out
Am C G
You closed your eyes
F G C
We both stopped in the middle of the street
F G C
I'd like to think that it wasn't just me
F G C
Your head leaning back Heart attack
F G C
We both stopped in the middle of the street
C G Am F
You closed your eyes and opened your mouth
C G
I went in when nothing came out
Am C G
You closed your eyes
Am F C G
Three months of frustration and self mutilation
Am F C G
All burned away in the middle of the street that night
Am F C
G
But later that night you brought it all back You brought it all back
A F C G
Why did I do that
F G C
Why are you afraid of me
F G C
Afraid to be alone with me
F G C
You know I'll ask and then you'll crash
F G C
Now I know why you're afraid of me
Am F
A little hope tonight
C G
It was small but it was all I needed
Am F C G
A split second when we both lost control
Am F
It wasn't just me It wasn't just me
C G
we stopped in the street and You stopped breathing
Am F C G
your head tilted back Heart attack
C G Am F
You closed your eyes and opened your mouth
C G
I went in when nothing came out
Am C G C G Am
You closed your eyes
