Toh Kay: Hooray for Me (Bad Religion cover)
Chords by Brian Gallagher

CAPO 2

Intro: {D (one strum)}
D Em
Well I can see my teenage father standing straight on a desolate corner
G A
In the shadow of tenticled towers by the red light of America

D Em G
I imagine how his mother felt when she heard that her husband was dying
A D Em
And the underground heroes of the tarmack shooting smack were
G
blowing up worlds and

A
Damned out loud
D Em A
Hey can you tell me how does it feel?
Chorus 1:
G D A
Yeah tell me, can you imagine for a second
A D
Doing anything that you don't have to
G D
Well that's what I'm accustomed to
A
So hooray for me ...
**Intro
D Em
When I slept with stony faces on the riverbank
G A
My angels devils revelers shook me desperately in dying
D Em A
I don't exactly want to apologize for anything
D Em G
And now, we're all mad and tangled in secret rooms
A
With Roman candles
D Em A
On an endless graveyard train
Chorus 2:
A G D
Yeah tell me, can you imagine for a second
A D
Doing anything just 'cos you want to
G D
Well that's just what I do
A
So hooray for me ...

D D
Yeah I was dreaming through the “how’s life”
A D G
Yawning car black on my mind, She told
A
Me that I’m meaningless as ever
G D
And a song came on my radio like a cemetery
A
Rhyme for a million crying corpses in their

Tragedy of respectable existence

Chorus 3:
G D
Yeah tell me, can you imagine for a second
A D
Trying half the things you ever wanted to
G D
Well that's just what I do
A
So hooray for me... Oh yeah
Chorus 4:
G D
I'm not respectable, never sensible
A D
Maybe incredible, so damn irrascible
G D
I like the things I do
A D
So hooray for me... And f**k you
