The band were led throughout their recording career by bassist, songwriter and singer Phil Lynott, and are best known for their songs Whiskey in the Jar, Jailbreak and The Boys Are Back in Town, all major international hits still played regularly on hard rock and classic rock radio stations. A
Up 'til now the path of life was fair enough
A7 D G G/F
Was fair enough, enough was fair, all was right
Bm Bm/A E E7
And now I know, I see the light
C#m C#m7 F# F#7
And honesty was my only excuse...

The song fades out from here, so you can choose to either finish the verse
or end on the F#7, I guess... (which will sound pretty bad).

Anyway, enjoy!
