The White Buffalo

Home Is In Your Arms

by The White Buffalo
The White Buffalo

Biography:

The White Buffalo is American musician and singer-songwriter Jake Smith (born in Oregon in 1974/1975, and raised in California).

The White Buffalo is said to be a throwback to the time of hard touring, hard drinking artists who really lived what they sang about. Everything about him is big, from his imposing physical size to his amazing vocal range. He’s as comfortable playing in a dive bar as he is in front of thousands in a European arena.

A
Your love is a

Mother fucking revelation

And I'm just looking for

A fill-up station
D
To fill your heart

Just a hoping it starts

A
Your heart is a flutter

I know it's been awhile

You're falling fast

I know it ain't your style
D
It's been far too long
E
So won't you come along
D
Been spending my days in the rain

A
Take your sweet time

If you can't decide

I know I've made up

My simple mind
D
That you're my heart

You're the missing part

A
I build a place with no walls

Where it's warm inside

And it's made up of you and I
D
Where our lives are one
E
And they've only just begun
D
You're my shelter from the rain

A E

D
Now I'm home
A D F#m
Home is in your arms
E D A
I'm all alone without you darling

A
Bad boys and the bitches

Come up from behind

They must be deaf dumb and blind
D
They can't break these hearts

They just won't beat apart

A
I'll make you mine

Tell you what I'll do

Spend my life making love to you
D
Till our dying day
E
Till they carry us away
D
I'll be your shelter from the rain

A D F#m
Home is in your arms
E D A
I'm all alone without you darling

A D A D E

D
I'll be your shelter from the rain

A E

D
Now we found home
A D F#m x2
Home is in your arms
E D A
I'm all alone without you darling
