C Dm Am G6 G7
Hey girl, tell me where you been?
C Dm Am G6
I've been losing my mind. I've been going thin.
C Dm Am G6 G7
When she looks me up and down and says that nothing's changed,
C Dm Am Dm
I can hear a voice screaming out inside my brain “There's something wrong”.
Fmaj7/C C Dm Am G6 G7
I just can't put my finger on what is.

C Dm Am G6 G7
Hey Doc, I'm not feeling well.
C Dm Am G6
I've had a bad back and it's a living hell.
C Dm Am G6 G7
He looks me up and down says, "How old are you son?"
C Dm Am Dm
When I looked into his eyes I could tell that there was something wrong,
Fmaj7/C C Dm Am G6 G7 x
I just can't put my finger on what it is.

C Dm Am G6 G7
I went to a temple. I was feeling odd.
C Dm Am G6 G7
So I put my hands together and I prayed to God
C Dm Am G6 G7
For love and money but it didn't help that much
C Dm Am
and kneeling at the altar made my legs go numb.
Dm Fmaj7/C
There's something wrong, I just can't put my finger on what it is.

Fmaj7/C G7 Em Em7 Fmaj7/C
You can dwell on your fears and your porcelain tears.
Fmaj7/C G7 Em Em7 Fmaj7/C
Keep them out of my hair ‘cause they're all in your head.

C Dm Am G6 G7
I took a stroll on a summer's day
C Dm Am G6 G7
But I couldn't shake this feeling - It wouldn't go away. ]
C Dm Am G6 G7
Heard a little birdie singing in the tree.
C Dm Am Dm
Is he trying to tell me something? Is he telling me there's something wrong?
Fmaj7/C
I just can't put my finger on what it is.

Fmaj7/C G7 Em Em7 Fmaj7/C
You can dwell on your fears and your porcelain tears.
Fmaj7/C G7 Em Em7 Fmaj7/C
Keep them out of my hair ‘cause they're all in your head.
