F#m7 E7
Come on, come on let's have a song
F#m7 E7
The morning sun is soon to come
F#m7 E7 F#m7
We don't have time to linger on

A

F#m7 E7
There comes a time, there comes a time
F#m7 E7
To make it right when I was wrong
F#m7 E7
And someday girl we'll get along.

Am

G

Goodbye to all your plans
D C
You can listen to me now
G
Your head is bent out of shape
D C
But your feet are on the ground
G C
But all in all, the ceiling's coming down

D G C
I take my time to face the day
D G C
It's good to hear you talk this way
D G C
So we'll keep this up as friends this time - Nothing's wrong
D G C
I'll stand up as I'll shake your hand - We'll be alright

G
D C G
Then I'll do it all again
G
That man he is a fraud
D C G
But nobody gives a damn
G C
and then all and all, they'll all be weighing in

D G C
Can I sleep on your floor tonight
D G C
Give me some time to set this right
D G C
Where's your head, There's nothing for you here - Nothing's wrong
D G C
Take a look around and you'll see it clear

G Bm7
Come on come on let's get things done
G Bm7
The morning sun has come and gone
G Bm7
Get up, get out and move along

G

G Bm7
There comes a time, there comes a time

To make it right when I was wrong

And someday girl we'll get along
