Biography:
The Translucents came together in Seattle during late summer of 2006 by a common love of music and similar outlooks on life. The lyrics contain messages that are emotionally meaningful, and placed in powerful melodies. The group got together after Rohit Rao heard the sounds of drumming coming from down the street and met and invited Ryan Knapp to play with him and friend Ryan Rasmussen some time. The first time Rohit and Knapp ever played together, it was about an hour long session of playing "Hey Joe" over and over (and over).
